Resurfacing on section of State Road 23 near Walkerton begins Monday

A section of State Road 23 will be reduced to one lane of travel in each direction starting May 15.
Travel lanes will be reduced south of Walkerton between U.S. 30 and Lawrence Street.
Resurfacing work should wrap up by late September.
Starting on June 9, S.R. 23 will be closed between County Road E 650 N and County Road E 600 N for two weeks for a pipe replacement project at Rice Ditch.
During this closure, drivers will be detoured to U.S. 6, U.S. 35 and U.S. 30.
