Roadwork starting on sections of U.S. 6
Indiana Department of Transportation INDIANA - INDOT says an intersection on U.S. 6 in La Porte County will close and a section of U.S. 6 in Marshall County will close starting April 1.
In La Porte County., the Indiana Department of Transportation says the intersection of U.S. 421 and U.S. 6 will be closed starting on or after April 1 for a roundabout project.
This intersection will be closed through late September at least.
Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes. The official detour will follow State Road 39, U.S. 30, State Road 49 and State Road 2.

In Marshall County, the Indiana Department of Transportation will close U.S. 6 between State Road 106 and Miami Highway on or after April 1.
U.S. 6 will be closed through late July as part of a preventative maintenance bridge deck overlay project.
Motorists are asked to seek an alternate route. The official detour will follow State Road 106.
