Rochester men accused of dealing meth, other illegal substances

FULTON COUNTY, Ind. – Two Rochester men were arrested for allegedly possessing and dealing methamphetamine and other substances, Indiana State Police announced.

A state trooper initiated a narcotics investigation after receiving information about potential illegal drug activity at an apartment in the 200 block of Northgate Circle in Rochester.

A search warrant was granted by the Fulton Circuit Court and on Monday, troopers served the warrant.

Inside the apartment, they found 24-year-old Seth Newcomb and 20-year-old Lazarus R. Hernandez, both from Rochester.

During a search of the apartment, officers found approximately one pound of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, THC vape cartridges, two long guns, $4,259, and drug paraphernalia, according to reports.

Both men were taken to the Fulton County jail and face the following charges:

  • Dealing methamphetamine
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Dealing cocaine
  • Possession of cocaine
  • Dealing heroin
  • Possession of heroin
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
