NOW: SBPD officer charged with Child Seduction is put on unpaid leave

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- This morning at a meeting of the South Bend Board of Public Safety, officials voted unanimously to put officer Rico Bulter on administrative leave without pay starting today.

Butler was arrested and booked into the St. Joseph County Jail just after midnight March 2 on two counts of child seduction stemming from his relationship to a 17-year-old student at a Mishawaka high school where Bulter was the school resource officer and boys basketball coach.
