BENTON HARBOR, Mich. — Benton Harbor Area Schools’ superintendent must face more tests before she can return to her job.
Wednesday, the school board approved a surprise resolution with directions specifically for Dr. Shelly Walker.
Although Walker is still on administrative leave, trustees want her to undergo two examinations in March to ensure she is capable of performing her duties.
Those two exams would have to take place before her evaluation with the board scheduled to take place on March 7.
As of now, Dr. Walker is expected to be at that meeting.
