Section of S.R. 2 to close Saturday morning for clean up

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- Beginning at 6:30 a.m. on April 20, S.R. 2, from the intersection of U.S. 20, will be closed to through traffic so crews can remove soils and materials that were contaminated with diesel fuel as the result of a recent crash.
Eastbound traffic will be detoured on U.S. 20 through New Carlisle, then south on the U.S. 31 Bypass to S.R. 2.
The work is expected to be done by 2 p.m.
