Infrastructure is expected to be one of the topics of President Donald Trump's first State of the Union address Tuesday evening. US Senator Todd Young, R-Ind. says he hopes the president outlines some of the $1 trillion infrastructure plan in the speech.
Young is a member of the Senate's Infrastructure Committee and things infrastructure projects will be good for the economy.
He says he will be working to get state issues addressed.
"I'll be advocating for Hoosier priorities with respect to our infrastructure needs. After all we are the crossroads of America, the logistics economy, and moving our manufactured goods, and our food and fiber to markets around the world," Young said.
