Sidewalk assessment company, StreetScan partners with South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- Mayor James Mueller and the Department of Public Works will announce a collaboration with StreetScan on Monday, August 14. The pavement assessment company is set to perform a condition assessment of city sidewalks through September.

Using e-scooters equipped with a camera, StreetScan scans sidewalks to detect defects such as cracks and tripping hazards.

The event will take place on Monday, August 14 at 10:30 a.m. Located at 322 West Washington St.
