Single-vehicle crash in Cass County, one injured

CASS COUNTY, Mich. - The Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle crash just before noon, Tuesday, on Daily Road just south of M-60 in Jefferson Township.

Authorities say the investigation shows that a 17-year-old Dowagiac man, was traveling north on Dailey Road when he suffered a medical emergency which caused him to lose control, cross the center line, and go off the road, crashing into a tree.

The driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Police say the driver was wearing his seatbelt and alcohol and drugs are not a factor of this crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
