Temperatures warm into the 40s midweek ahead of the next bout of winter weather to end the week. Thursday evening rain changes to snow and scattered snow showers are likely through Friday. On the back side of the system lake effect is possible but the northwest flow off the lake is limited and as a result so will any snow. This round of winter weather looks to have minimal impact with three inches or less the most likely scenario, and with high temperatures still near freezing Friday, there could still be melting. Next week looks like a return to quiet, cloudy gloom.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 28.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. High 42.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. PM rain / snow. High 40.
Friday: Scattered snow showers. High 35.
