SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend announced that it will be expanding the South Bend Open Wi-Fi network to provide free internet access to more locations.
South Bend Mayor James Mueller says that this move is an important decision that will widen digital accessibility around the city.
“Access to digital resources is critical to get ahead in today's economy and we need to make sure that this access is felt across the city,” said Mayor Mueller.
Residents are encouraged to give feedback for this program and can nominate a space or location in South Bend to receive free wi-fi by visiting here.
