State Road 39 closed near Union Mills beginning October 2

Indiana Department of Transportation LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. - A section of State Road 39 will be closed starting October 2 while crews work on a railroad crossing in the area, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
The road will be shut down between Young Road and County Road W 800 S for about two weeks.
During this time, drivers can detour using U.S. 6, U.S. 35 and U.S. 30.
