Stephenson's of Elkhart launches annual coat drive to give back to the community

ELKHART, Ind. - A local retail store in Downtown Elkhart strives to provide coats for the community during upcoming chilly winter months. 

Stephenson's of Elkhart launched their annual coat drive, with initiative partners SPA Women's Ministries, to collect and distribute warm coats to individuals and families in need. 

"We are looking forward to another Coat Drive, and with it an opportunity to give back to a community that has given so much to us," said Lily Reynolds Miller, store representative. "Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to a warm coat during the cold winter months. We invite individuals, businesses, and community organizations to join us in making a difference!" 

The coat drive will run from December 27 to December 30. 

New or gently used coats can be dropped off at Stephenson's during their regular store hours: Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

With every donation, Stephenson's is offering 30 to 40 percent off any new coat or eligible purchase.

Monetary donations are also accepted and can be dropped off at SPA Women's Ministries (3404 Toledo Rd, Elkhart, IN 46516).
