Storms return to the forecast Tuesday, scattered in the afternoon and more widespread by the evening. The given setup may be the greatest threat for severe weather so far this season, which has been subdued besides flooding. Strong wind and heavy rain will be the main concern between 6:00 and Midnight. Rain showers will linger through early Wednesday.
Sweltering weather returns this weekend, high warm back into the 90s and the humidity surges to tropical levels with heat index forecast +100.
Tonight: Mostly clear, low of 64.
Tuesday: Increasing clouds, scattered showers and storms. High of 80.
Wednesday: Morning showers, high of 78.
Thursday: Sunny, highs in the mid-80s.
