ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart County dispatch confirmed a large structure fire Sunday morning.
The call came in around 4:58 a.m.
Crews were on the scene at the 26,000 block of Lakeview Dr. in Elkhart.
One woman had apparently been transported to the hospital with smoke inhalation injuries.
Her condition is unknown.
The fire was mainly in the roof and attic, according to those on scene.
Officials said it took about and hour and half to control the stubborn fire.
The Osolo Township Fire Department was assisted by Cleveland Township Fire Department, Town of Bristol, Porter Township, Elkhart City, and Osolo EMS.
No further details have been provided yet as to the cause.
