SOUTH BEND, Ind. - South Bend's Art Beat will celebrate its 20th year on Saturday, taking over Jefferson Boulevard with over 500 performing, visual and culinary artists from across Michiana!
In anticipation of the event, ABC57 caught up with Kylie Carter, Senior Director of Marketing and Events for Downtown South Bend, to get a preview of what to expect from this year's festival.
ABC57 was also joined by members of the IU South Bend Tap and Kickline team, who are performing at the event.
Art Beat is the largest annual event in downtown South Bend, inviting artists to share their talents with the community. During the event, Wayne Street and Jefferson Boulevard will be closed to traffic between St. Louis and Martin Luther King Jr. boulevards. St. Louis will also be closed from Jefferson to Wayne.
Kids can also participate and make their own creations at the event with Kids Beat, located in the northeast corner of the Century Center parking lot. Learn more about Kids Beat here.
