The humidity is high after recent heavy rain, and will rise even higher, sweltering humidity starting Sunday. The heat index peak near 95 to 100 degrees Sunday and Monday. The high humidity is also fuel for thunderstorms. A round Sunday morning could be loud, but the early arrival, the concern for widespread damaging wind is low. Monday evening's round of storms could be stronger depending on the timing, and is the timeframe for watch for severe weather. With the water table already high, flash flooding will be an issue with any additional heavy rainfall. The heat and humidity will break Wednesday, lasting through next weekend.
