NAPPANEE, Ind. -- The ELC Heritage Collection is mixing food, walking, and local history with Taste of Nappanee, a walking tour that takes the public through the tastes and stories of Nappanee, Indiana. The tour is set to be offered every third Tuesday of the month from May to September, with the first tour date on Tuesday, May 19.
On Tuesday, ABC57's Summer Horan spoke with Martha Owen, the Heritage Collection Manager at Nappanee Public Library, about how Taste of Nappanee works and a small portion of what you can learn on the tour.
The Taste of Nappanee tours are planned for Tuesday, May 19, June 16, July 21, Aug. 18, and Sept. 15, costing $30 per person, though you can spend $60 instead to also get a charcuterie board. The boards can also be purchased for $45 separately.
More information on the tours or on purchasing tickets can be found on the Taste of Nappanee website.
