ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, January 27, 2024
Temperatures crawl back down into the mid 30s tonight as light showers move in during the early evening hours. A transition to a light rain/snow mix will occur late tonight with the greatest accumulations being concentrated closer towards the Ft. Wayne/NW Ohio region. While many of us will see flakes fall, the only surfaces where snow will stick will be those with pre-existing snowpacks. Otherwise, expect less than half an inch of accumulation. The rain/snow mix lasts into early Sunday morning, eventually tapering off and transitioning to cloudy skies overhead. Michiana's highs will hover around 40F for the next several days as a quieter pattern sets in. Our next (and only) weather disturbance in the near future is set for Monday night into Tuesday as another bout of rain/snow mix arrives from the north, although temperatures will still be too warm for any substantial accumulation. Expect sunnier skies and milder highs the rest of next week.
Tonight: Light rain/snow showers. Low 35.
Sunday: AM rain/snow, overcast afterwards. High 39.
Monday: Partly cloudy. High 40.
Tuesday: Light rain/snow mix. High 39.
