Texas hospital explodes, patients evacuated

GATESVILLE, Texas. -- Patients were evacuated after a hospital in Gatesville, Texas exploded Tuesday afternoon.

According to affiliates, the explosion happened at Coryell Memorial Hospital, just west of Waco.

Officials confirm one person has died and 12 construction workers are among the injured with four in critical condition.

The building was under construction when a blast caused the structure to partially collapse.
