The Cass County Sheriff's Department is investigating a single-vehicle crash

CASS COUNTY, Mich. - The Cass County Sheriff's Department is investigating a single-vehicle crash in Wayne Township.
The incident occurred near Flanders Street and Twin Lakes Road around 3 p.m. EST today.
The only passenger in the vehicle, a 63-year-old Dowagiac resident, was treated for injuries at Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital following the crash. She reportedly fell from the vehicle before it lost control and struck a tree.
The driver of the vehicle left the scene before officials arrived.
An investigation into this crash is ongoing. However, police say alcohol and drugs were not a factor.
