GOSHEN, Ind. -- On Thursday, Feb. 5., Tiara Jackson was named the new Elkhart County Auditor.
Jackson, the former First Deputy Auditor, ran unopposed after previous Auditor Patty Pickens was selected as the new Elkhart County Clerk, replacing Christopher Anderson.
Tiara Jackson hopes to keep the office's momentum running and possibly better educate the population of Elkhart County in the actions of the County Auditor.
"I just want to sustain the office as a whole, as it is with our current employees, keep that momentum going, the transparency that we have in the office, maintaining that, continuing to support the taxpayers, like we have been all of these years. I would say those are my main goals right now.", said Jackson.
