Tire Amnesty event at South Bend Hazardous Waste Facility April 27

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Household Hazardous Waste Facility in South Bend announced on Thursday that it will be hosting a "Tire Amnesty" Recycling Event from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 27.

According to the organizers, residents can drop off up to six passenger vehicle tires (no tractor or semi tires) per car for free at 828 Kerr Street.

Also, the facility will be accepting any hazardous waste such as electronics, paint, chemicals, batteries, waste fuels/oils and lubricants.
