Indiana Senator Todd Young joined with the Nappanee Chamber of Commerce and the Clinton County Chamber of Congress Tuesday morning to discuss the possibility of more federal help for businesses, families and others struggling financially.
“A few of the priorities I’m personally hoping will be included in the next corona relief bill are liability protections,” Young said. “For those businesses and schools that are trying to reopen and abide by guidelines but still fearful that they’re going to be on the receiving end of some sort of unfair lawsuit.”
Lawmakers in Washington are at a standstill on another coronavirus economic stimulus package.
Democrats on Capitol Hill want a 3-trillion dollar relief bill with more help for the for the unemployed, while Republicans are pushing a 1-trillion dollar package.
