Two injured in crash involving SUV and train

STARKE COUNTY, Ind. -- Two people were injured when their SUV was struck by a train on US30 near CR 1100 E in Grovertown, Indiana, according to the Starke County Sheriff's Department.

The crash happened around 3:40 p.m. CST Thursday.

Starke County Sheriff Bill Dulin said two people were injured. Two patients were flown via helicopter to the hospital.

The crash is under investigation.
