Two people injured in Cass County crash

CASS COUNTY, Mich.- Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Calvin Township on Thursday night.

The crash occurred on Bulhand Street near the intersection of Calvin Center Road around 8 p.m. EST.

The driver, a 38-year-old Granger resident, was traveling eastbound on Bulhand Street when she struck a parked grain cart in the eastbound lane. 

Her and her passenger, a 48-Year-old Cassopolis resident, were transported to the South Bend Memorial Hospital, where they were treated for their injuries. The driver of the grain cart was unharmed in the crash. 

The crash remains under investigation, but officials do not believe that alcohol was a factor in the incident.
