ELKHART, Ind.— A man was injured in a shooting at the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Elkhart on Wednesday night.
Officials were dispatched to the KFC in the 2700 block of S. Main St. at 11:12 p.m. regarding a shooting.
A 45-year-old man was shot in the shoulder. He was taken to Memorial Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police are looking for two suspects that were wearing masks and light colored hooded sweatshirts.
Officials say the two suspects went through an open back door of the restaurant, but nothing was taken.
According to police, the shooting was part of an attempted robbery.
