United Way, Al's Supermarkets offering $20 gift certificates to veterans on Saturday

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. - United Way of La Porte County and Al’s Supermarkets are honoring veterans on Saturday by handing out $20 gift certificates to the first 100 veterans to visit the grocery store.
To claim a gift, veterans can stop by their local Al's, in both La Porte and Michigan City, from 9 to 11 a.m. Central Standard Time or while supplies last. Veterans should bring a valid military ID or a DD Form 2 to the customer service desk to get a certificate.
