BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety reports they assisted the Benton Charter Township Fire Department with a structure fire in the 1200 block of Main Street in Benton Harbor Township Thursday morning.
Authorities say upon arrival at the vacant portable classroom for the old Bard School, crews were met with heavy fire.
This is the third vacant structure fire within the same week for the area.
No injuries have been reported.
