CASS COUNTY, Mich. – The victim of a deadly crash that happened on Calvin Hill Street Monday night has been identified.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Department says 40-year-old Jennifer Johnson died from her injuries after her vehicle hit a tree. .
According to deputies, Johnson was driving on Calvin Hill Street near North Shore Drive when she lost control of her vehicle and struck the tree.
The crash happened around 6:49 p.m.
Officials say Johnson was the only person in the vehicle and she was wearing her seatbelt.
The incident is still under investigation but deputies believe slick roads played a role in the crash.
