Westbound lanes of US20 closed in LaPorte County

UPDATE: As of 3:50 p.m., all lanes have been reopened.
LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- According to LaPorte County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Derek Allen, there has been a crash involving a semitruck in the westbound lanes of US20 near Oak Knoll Road.
"The westbound lanes are closed as deputies investigate a personal injury crash," Allen said on social media. "Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area."
