WHITE PIGEON, Mich. - Michigan State Police say a man accused of assaulting and kidnapping a woman is in jail.
Troopers say it happened around 10:45 A.M. Tuesday on Indian Prairie Road near U.S. 131 in White Pigeon.
A witness told troopers the suspect chased the victim down the road, forced her back into her vehicle, and then followed the vehicle as it crossed the Indiana line.
Troopers found the vehicle several hours later and arrested the man.
The suspect, a 28-year-old man from White Pigeon, faces charges including kidnapping and domestic violence.
