Woman’s body found in ditch along I-94 treated as ‘suspicious’

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Troopers are treating the discovery of a 59-year-old woman’s body found in a ditch along I-94 near Battle Creek as suspicious.
According to Michigan State Police, Vanessa Wilder’s body was found in a ditch along the right lane of eastbound I-94, just west of Capital Avenue around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.
Her cause of death is unknown.
MSP says the investigation is ongoing.
