Notre Dame students build bridges in Central America

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Some Notre Dame students are building bridges for the under-privileged in Central America!

The "SEED" program first started in 2008 as a way for the Engineering Department to do charitable work.

Since then, the program has skyrocketed!

Students have done work in Guatemala, Honduras and now Nicaragua.

They said it feels good to help others!

It takes about five months to complete a bridge.

The seven-member team will head back to Nicaragua in May, after graduation.
