Power outages reported across Michiana

Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) is reporting power outages across parts of Michiana Tuesday evening.

According to I&M, approximately 298 customers are now without service.

That number has gone down from approximately 600 this afternoon as crews work to restore power.

Areas affected include South Bend, Buchanan, Stevensville, Eau Claire, Elkhart and Elwood.

Elkhart has approximately 16 customers without power.
