South Bend hit and run sends one to hospital

A pedestrian was taken to the hospital Monday after being struck by a vehicle at the Edison and State Road 23 intersection.
The South Bend Police Department received a call of a hit and run just before 8 p.m.
When crews arrived, the victim was conscious. His condition is unknown at this time.
Police have not yet released a description of the suspect or their vehicle.
