As we near the end of the month, it's time to take a look back. August has been a relatively dry one for all of Michiana. So far, we have only had 5 days of measurable rainfall in the first 23 days. That has helped our monthly rain total climb to just under 2 inches, but we are still off the mark. Due to the drying conditions, we are starting to see some abnormally dry conditions set into eastern portions of Michiana.
For the remainder of August, we continue to stay on the dry side. Besides the slight chance of a passing sprinkle coming in Thursday, our next best chance for rain does not move through until Monday.
