CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- A golf cart driven by a juvenile was struck by a pickup truck also driven by a juvenile while attempting to make a left turn.
The collision happened on Shore Acres Road around 9:20 p.m. on July 4.
The golf cart carried a second passenger who was uninjured, but the driver of the golf cart was transported by ambulance to the hospital for injuries caused by the crash.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash and authorities say not all parties involved were wearing their seatbelts.
The incident remains under investigation.
