Javante Walker found guilty in 2021 murder of Montell O’Neal

Javante Walker ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office announced a jury found 25-year-old Javante Walker guilty of one count of murder for the September 12, 2021, homicide of 24-year-old Montell O’Neal, of South Bend.
Court documents state the jury also found Walker guilty of the firearm enhancement.
The sentencing range for the offense of murder is 45 to 65 years and 5 to 20 years for firearm enhancement.
Walker's sentencing is scheduled for March 14.
