SBCSC "Hop on and Hire" Career Day

SOUTH BEND,Ind. --  South Bend Community School Corporation, held their Hop on and Hire hiring event Saturday afternoon. The event aimed to recruit new bus drivers for the school district. 

There were on the spot interviews and practical driving experiences for those with valid drivers licenses and were able to drive the busses around.

The Transportation training coordinator saying that drivers for the district emphasize the importance of transportation in the community and the responsibility of transporting students and the need for good communicators, positive individuals and safety conscious drivers.
