Successful morning for the inaugural 2015 Turkey Trot in South Bend

The inaugural Turkey Trot event in South Bend started at 8 Thursday morning.

It was put on by “A Positive Approach to Teen Health” which is a nonprofit organization that provides healthy lifestyle curriculum for educators in school districts nationwide as well as direct-outreach services in seven counties throughout northwest Indiana.

They say that each registration fee will help in their mission to “equip, empower and encourage teens to make healthy choices through life skills, relationships and character building education.”
