Protests outside of Honeywell with Chicago UAW members

Protesters could be seen outside of Honeywell in South Bend on Thursday.

More than 20 people and members of the United Auto Workers from Chicago were on hand showing their support.

Workers have been locked out of the factory for more than 100 days now.

Today the UAW from Chicago gave the local UAW a $1,000 check to help families that are affected.

"We're willing to try to work with them. We want to get our folks back on the job. This is terrible for the community. There are plenty of households that are struggling to get by. We just want to get back to work and get to an agreement,“ says Bryan Rodger, UAW Acting President.

Many workers say it isn't a strike and if they were able to, they would be working.
