19-year-old injured in South Bend shooting on Haney Avenue
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police are looking into an incident that occured early Saturday morning which led to a shooting.
According to dispatch, the shooting occurred on 1210 E. Haney Ave. at approximately 12:05 a.m.
Patrolling officers heard gunshots and received a call regarding a 19-year-old male with a non-life threatening wound to the arm.
The unidentified victim was taken to the hospital to undergo treatment.
Officials say a verbal argument took place before the shooting.
The scene cleared at approximately 1:23 a.m.
The 19-year-old suffered injuries in the shooting.
No word on the condition of the victim.
This is an ongoing investigation with the South Bend Investigative Bureau.
