1 Killed, around 30 injured in mega bus crash in southern Illinois

LITCHFIELD, Ill. -- We know more now about the deadly mega bus accident that happened in southern Illinois on Thursday.

We first brought you this news at 11 p.m. on Thursday.

The mega bus coach line was headed from Chicago to Kansas City when it crashed into an overpass.

A 25-year-old woman from India died. Two dozen others were injured.

One witness recounts the chaotic scene.

 "Most people had blood on them somewhere. A lot of people, there was a man that couldn't move from the neck down.  There was a man who had his head stuck between the two seats in front of him.  I could hear screams of pain from the top level of the bus."

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but witnesses think a tire blew out, causing the driver to lose control.
