SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- The 10th Annual Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day Ceremony is being held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Angel of Hope Memorial Gardens. The observation is for families who of stillborn and miscarried babies.
The Isaiah Chapter of Threads for Hope puts on the event each year. The organization is a nonprofit that puts together memory boxes for families who have lost children.
At the ceremony, each family will be given a rose, courtesy of Martin's Supermarket. They then speak the name of their child before tossing a petal from the rose into the river.
Organizers are expecting about 100 people to attend this year's event.
