11-year-old killed while pulling wagon on side of the road

LA GRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- An 11-year-old who was walking and pulling a wagon on the side of CR400 S was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday afternoon, according to the La Grange County Sheriff's Department.
The driver was traveling east on CR400 South, west of CR700 West when the crash happened.
The driver told deputies once she saw the juvenile she didn't have enough time to avoid the collision.
Deputies said the juvenile was killed as a result of the crash.
The wagon had an LED light attached and a witness told deputies the light was activated and attached to the rear of the wagon at the time of the crash, according to deputies.
