South Bend Record Show back for another year amid pandemic
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Saint Joseph Health System and South Bend Venue Parks and Arts hosted the 15th annual Senior Christmas Party Wednesday at the Martin Luther King Jr Recreation Center.
Around 200 seniors were treated to a free lunch, prizes and Christmas gifts.
John Bruinsma, the Senior Services Coordinator at Saint Joseph Health System, says the event wouldn't be possible without help from the city.
"Their generosity yields this beautiful gym, this beautiful space. Their whole department comes out and helps us serve food to the seniors," Bruinsma said.
