2 Hospitalized following car vs. tree crash

GENEVA TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police responded to a late night car accident in Geneva Township in Michigan.
It happened on 60th Street near 8th Avenue. A Chrysler Sebring smashed into a tree around 11:40 Thursday night. It ended up being totaled.
Police believe the 25-year-old driver was drinking. She and her 5-year-old son were both taken to the hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said she has prior convictions of driving on a suspended license.
