2 Rushed to hospital following car crash near Elkhart Municipal Airport

ELKHART, Ind. -- Fire crews extracted two people from a car after it collided with an SUV in Elkhart.
The accident happened on John Weaver Parkway right next to the Elkhart Municipal Airport around 8 a.m. Friday.
The two victims were transported to Memorial Hospital. The extents of their injuries are unknown. The driver in the SUV went to Elkhart General as a precaution.
The parkway is currently closed off from County Road 6 to County Road 10.
The Elkhart County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team is on scene. No word on what caused the accident.
