2022 Eat and Drink at the Zoo set for May 21

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Potawatomi Zoo’s annual Eat and Drink at the Zoo will be held on May 21 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The event, which is for adults ages 21 and over, features regional food and drink vendors sharing their products with guests.

Vendors at this year’s event include Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Frank’s Tacos, Ironhand Vineyard, Kekionga Cider, and more.

The event also includes a DJ and photobooth, live musical guests, and Zoo Keeper Chats with some of the zoo’s animals.

“We’re so excited to bring in some of our favorite food and beverages for this unique event, as well as showing off our own expanded Zoo catering,” says Lindy Dreher, the Zoo’s special events manager. “This is an event that gives people plenty of space to walk at their own pace, try some great samples, and get to see the Zoo animals in the evening.”

Tickets are $85 per person and include all food and drink samples as well as unlimited rides on the Potawatomi Zoo Express and Endangered Species Carousel.

A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $125 per person. VIP tickets get guests early entry, an exclusive animal encounter, and exclusive food and drink samples.

Tickets must be purchased online and will not be available at the gate.
